Someone needs to talk me out if getting a 7mm Backcountry for this exact purpose
What are you planning to hunt with it? Shot distance?
At this current time, my plans are to maybe go to 400. I'm hoping one day I will be able to go out of state for an Elk or Mule deer.
You can do all of that, if that’s what you want. However, it doesn’t take much to kill an elk at 400 yards.
