Trust me I totally understand. I have a 5 year old lab also that spent 2 years with trainer.
But back to someone commenting on a post about price without knowing the whole story.
These pups are 800.00 a piece because there not registered. The mother has papers that are great with great pedigree . The father come from registered stock and could have had papers but original owner had to get rid of him quickly and couldn’t find paper work. Does that mean they will be the greatest bird dog no. But a piece of paper doesn’t guarantee that either.
Time will tell. We will see if our gamble pays off.
