I hunted yesterday w perfect wind in good spot - zip. My cam activity = about zip - prob hit hard as can next week
About to go check some traps and expect zip

We went 15 minutes down the road and checked a back-whack for a hunter......Ended up jumping him up with another buck that was a dang stud and they both about ran over me and the hunter.....Called it off when we saw that he wasnt hurt that bad

I never even got my gun off my back......It all happened pretty fast and in tight quarters.....I was google eyeing that 140 that was about to run over me before I side stepped him.

Well me and a buddy went this am in 69 deg. Had three young bucks chase a doe right by my buddy. First chasing we’ve seen. Maybe the big boys will be behind her Monday.

I never even got my gun off my back......It all happened pretty fast and in tight quarters.....I was google eyeing that 140 that was about to run over me before I side stepped him. Ol man told me one time, take that sling off if you want to kill a few more walking… Yeah I get it but it aint really like that tracking…….I don’t take wild jump shots at them anyways due to the dog typically being right there on their heels……When I shoot one its typically standing still on a bay……..When I’m walking I need my hands free to look at my GPS and beat my way through the brush.

Moved my climber to a new area. Been seeing shooter bucks on camera and good sign in the vicinity. Maybe I’ll get lucky and catch one moving early.
