Why are the doe harvest numbers down so much?? Doesnt seem like it would be that hard for someone to kill a doe if they wanted one Harold I know ppl who are not seeing deer, who are literally covered up in deer. . You know people that are covered up in deer that want to shoot a doe but cant see one?? I don’t disagree about harvest fluctuating with acorns but I think the dynamics of what’s occurring is a little different in a lot of areas than I believe you have pictured……For example, I don’t think the reason why areas like Marshall, Etowah, St. Clair, etc are down so much is because everyone is covered up with deer and just cant see them……The reason those areas are down is because the remaining deer leftover from the heavy harvests are concentrated and arent spread out across chit loads of different small parcels right now…..You’re right that some people arent seeing them but its because they arent there for them to see this year……They arent coming to the corn pile in the back of paw paw’s cow pasture this year for a lot of folks..... I guess time will tell us which one of you is correct.
