something different from the political bull on this site
My go to snack used to be Vienna sausage and sometimes potted meat and crackers, last weekend my grandson introduced me to Lunchables, that wasn't bad but I will not give up my Vienna's even though Lunchables were better

Ate plenty of vienna sausage and potted meat after working in the cow pasture fixing fences and taking care of the cows. That was what my Grandpa Hicks would have to eat for lunch.

Morning, 32oz Yeti mug of coffee. Cold afternoons, same mug but with a pack of Romon noodles busted up and the rest of it filled with boiling water. If want to splurge, a cut up hotdog will be thrown in.

I must not hunt as hard as y'all. I don't think I've ever eaten anything while hunting. Maybe coffee while duck hunting, but I'm not trying to stay all day

Generally higher quality trail mix (dried fruits and nuts), nature's bakery fig bars, cliff bar or protein bar, some type of fruit, and a sandwich. Generally not in a house stand though and generally planning to sit all day. Water with some type of electrolyte mixed in.

My standard go to snacks if I'm hunting during midday and skipping lunch:
Some mixture of the following:
Dukes Smoked Sausage or good jerky.
Cheez-its (Buffalo wing flavor)
Lance peanut butter crackers
Milky Way Midnight or Twix
Trail mix or just some salted peanuts or cashews.
A&W Cream Soda or Mountain Dew
