I'm not saying that they dont have the talent. Not at all. The top 2 or 3 have spent the money and bought it for sure. I'm saying they have a much easier path. Easier to get the playoff "bye" and avoid having to play that extra game. It is much easier for them avoid injuries given that 70% of their season schedules are basically DII schools. They are in better shape physically when it comes time to play the SEC teams in the playoffs every year and it shows. It would be like Alabama and Georgia playing in Conference USA every year. Their only real game would be when they played each other and they'd hit the playoffs well rested and almost, if not, 100% healthy.
