Do they still give you morphine at the hospital or have they changed? They had to give me Dilaudid. Morphine didn't touch my pain. Me too, but that didn't touch it either. Toradol was the magic medicine though. Toradol is an NSAID and Dilaidid is an opiod. They gave me Toradol for use at home as needed. It was OK but nothing like the Dilaudid for me. Everybody is different but we all need whatever knocks that damn pain out ASAP. lol everyone likes the dilauded…. Toradol is typically better for stone pain.

My ex stepmonster had some kidney problems years back and her doctor told her to drink 2 or 3 beer a few days out of the week after work and her problems would go away. As much as she hated the taste of it she did it and her problems went away. The doctor said that the hops that the beer is made out of had something in it that was good for kidneys and the problems she was having.
