No, not if they can’t enforce it. I’ve deer hunted here most of my life, only GW I’ve ever encountered deer hunting was at a WMA check station or on the side of the road in a NF.
That being said, tags and check stations might be the way to slow down the outlaws, if The Man can’t get to you, you go to him.
But that won’t help improve the habitat.
Like others have said, it’s not hard to kill all the deer you want to in Alabama, it’s not letting them live longer that hurts us most.
