Streamlight 1L1AA They’re about $50, can use a CR123lithium or regular AA batttery. It has a two way pocket clip, can go on your pocket or on the bill of your hat.

I’ve got a bunch. Keep a big stream light strion HPL in the truck. Streamlight 2AAA penlight in my pocket. Really like the Nebo rechargeable lights too. Never have too many flashlights.

Last ones I have bought were olight. If you need a key chain light they are giving one away right now. The free one uses a aaa battery but the next one up is rechargable.

stream light wedge is what i use now. I've always disliked rechargeable but the new ones work better. and the wedge has a different kind of switch. lets face it we all have a box of maglights and stream lights where the buttons stopped working within months

I have 3 that need to go back for maintenance. They're probably 15 years old but all 3 died with a different situation 5 or 6 years ago. When they were working they were a great light at a fair price.

I've had all sorts of flashlights and headlamps, both battery powered and rechargeable. Rechargeable seems great but, inevitably, it always goes dead at the worst possible time. I've gone back to battery powered. It's a lot easier to keep a pack of spare batteries on my pack/vest than to recharge something in the woods/on the water

+1 for the Streamlight 1L1AA, but I have several other Streamlight units, a Surefire or two, and several Nebo lights. The rechargeable ones have come a long way.
