I go out to Amazon and choose about $30 of stuff I don’t need any of it - but, generally choose inexpensive made in China single use things or things that when I need them I will have them. Stuff such as orbital sandpaper, zip ties, brining bags, turkey oven bags, extension cord straps, bungee straps,…etc.
Christmas is my favorite time of the year and my wife and I GREATLY enjoy watching my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson open their gifts. And of course the fellowship with family and friends that only costs groceries, but is worth every single penny. We buy each other a couple of things, but don’t go overboard. I wish there was something that my wife really wanted, but at our age - we pretty much have all we need.
