What’s everyone using for a low-profile hunting chair (for ground blinds).
I’ve got a cabelas turkey lounger I’ve used the past 6-7 years but it’s on its last leg and weighs about 7lbs.
Anyone know of something similar that’s more lightweight?

I use a regular ol’ bag chair for my ground hunting.

Alps makes an aluminum version of their turkey chair for the camping market. It's not camo. I used spray paint and put a claw sling on. Lightest of that style going. For a pop up blind, I buy plastic patio chairs and leave them.

Thanks. Im gonna look into those options. The current setup isn’t bad, I just feel like there’s lighter options than my current 7lb chair. It’s gets heavy hiking in and out on steep terrain.
The blind setup I do is just a camo net draped over some branches to hide behind. So the lower, the better for profile.

Ive got a few different versions of the Millennium seats. Ive got the tree seat and a couple of the chairs that I use for dove and duck hunting and have used them deer hunting as well. They are very comfortable but are aggravating to carry as they're a little cumbersome and heavy for what they are. My wife asked for a Christmas idea for this year and I asked for a Helinox chair zero. Amazon had them on Black Friday for $80 or so. It breaks down to go inside a backpack and sits low and weighs 1lb 7oz. I think its gonna be the ticket for walking in Helinox Chair Zero Tan

My concealment usually consist of para cord, brown clothes pins, and a camo curtain or burlap. Just a big enough chunk to conceal any small movements.

I like to cut pine limbs with a pointed end and stick them in the ground around me in a pinch. Just enough to break my outline.

I left the turkey lounger behind and went to a Crazy creek.
It’s like a stadium seat, made from cordura, light weight adjustable as far as lounging back and comfortable
Has a lower profile than the turkey lounge also. You can swing around behind and shoot also if one slips up behind you
Well, the way I see it is there's just too many assholes
On a good day there's a bunch of assholes in here.
On a bad day there's too many assholes in here.

Waldrop Pac Seat is the best for me. I only hunt from ground and use whatever is available to make a natural blind. Millennium Tree seat is a close second

Millennium tree seat is hard to beat if there's a tree. I carried the four leg Millennium in and out a mile each way last night. Phew.

I also have a Millennium tree seat that works well, IF you have a good tree. The waldrop is the BEST package by far for comfort AND ease of transport, setup, versatility, etc. I’ve got multiple metal plates, screws, artificial discs, broken tail bone, etc. I’ve been through dozens of seats trying to find the Goldilocks. waldrop might be pricey, but I’d buy another tomorrow.
