Yeah, in my haste I forgot to mention the fact nobody has any idea if the GC numbers are actual compliance rates increasing or increased harvest itself. And we never will know.
I do know this, harvest is WAY down around here due to acorns. 😁
Folks got lazy. Sling corn starting mid September. No scouting required. Got to hunt sign-trails-bedding this year so far. Maybe acorns will be mostly gone or rotten mid January #’s will go up.
