This is a nice rifle. Has a few dings on the wood. Shoots good. I would sell for $1000 or best offer. I am fairly certain that it is a MG bbl. It should also say on the bbl, although some are NOT marked.
~1950s to 2000 should be MG. 2000 fwd should be Ballard.

Look down the barrel with a light. It's easy to tell the difference.
