So other than portable Buddy and Big Buddy heater with a 20 or 30 lb tank, what is considered safe for a single wide mobile home? Can you bring a propane tank inside or do you have to leave outside and open window? I see some folks just bring a 20 lb tank with heater inside but wonder how safe that is. If you were going the permanent route with big outdoor tank would you go vented or ventless. I’ve used the ventless before at an old deer camp, which heated a room great, but wonder if safe for mobile homes. Looking for a secondary source other than electric for power outage or polar blast like this year’s snowstorm. What do you think? Basically looking to put one secondary propane heater in the main room of the mobile home. Open floor plan kitchen dining area and living room. About 250-300 square foot open living space.
