Haven't mounted a scope in a while. Why would I mount a rail, and tensioned scope rings when I could go one piece ?




I was thinking "cool " till I realized my 40+ yr old Remington 30-06 has a similar mounting.




The new mount is going to be on a Muzzleloader. Once the scope lands it will stay. I'm going to say that this
old fitment might not be the best. DNZ offers many specific receiver fits. What am i missing ? Thanks
