Freeze your arse off in winter. Colder on a big lake! Fish will bite, sometimes. Some species more than others like a certain temperature range. Look that up and target that species at that depth. Crappie may move to 16-25 feet deep, but will school up and can be easier to catch. May take a couple of weeks warming trend for certain species. Crappie and Stripes can bite good in colder months. Hint, hint!
