There is a lot to digest in the Bama situation. 1) They were good enough to make the SEC Championship Game, Quite an accomplishment in the SEC. 2) Should Alabama be punished for playing in an extra game that honestly means nothing other than make the SEC money? 3) Shouldnt strength of schedule be brought into the conversation? 4) Alabama beat Georgia in Athens (5) if there wasnt a meaningless Championship game, they would be in the playoff and this wouldnt even be discussed. Lastly, take the starting RB, TE, 2 all SEC DL and a DB out and it changes things with any team.
With all that being said, I didnt think Bama could beat Georgia 2 times in a season especially with all the injuries. No, Im not a homer, I went to Auburn, kids graduated from Bama. Just trying to look at this objectively, The older I get the less important football has become. I dont get bent out of shape when a bunch of spoiled 18-20 year olds making more money than I ever have lose a football game. mot an Urban Myer fan that exactly what he said last night.
