I hope Bama doesn't make it in. Another loss this year will be coming if they do. Today's Bama team may not be able to beat their way out of a wet paper bag. It'd be a total joke to see them against a team the likes of Indiana or Ohio State, of any of the other teams that will get in. They are not a championship team, in my opinion. Today's embarrassing loss was enough to last for the rest of the year.

WEW, That’s more on Kirby screwing himself than anything Deboer has done to out coach him. I honestly haven’t seen Deboer do anything on the sideline in any game that made me say “wow, that was a great call”. I feel that he’s a decent/good coach but to consistently finish on top in the SEC, you have to be whole lot better than what he’s shown so far. If it isn’t fixed next year, his days in T-town are numbered. The 4th and 2 against the barn, maybe?

as conference champs, James Madison & Tulane will have the 11&12th spot in the playoffs so if they let bama in the CFP, that means No ACC team will be in the playoff & thats never gonna happen. Highly likely that Miami & ND will take those 9/10 spots IMO

Bama is not a playoff team. Debore is out of his league. I like him, he is a nice enough guy & a decent coach but his mentality is not championship caliber.

Coaching ---- Can't block worth a toot --- for running backs or protection
Coaching ---- knowing the O is awful, still not rolling Simpson out for some passes to get away from it.
Players --- We don't have a running back that can help block, Jam Miller took a step back this year in that department. Yes, he has been hurt, especially the collar bone before the season started. It certainly makes it hard to block with a broken collar bone healing.

So, just yesterday, I watched the Western Michigan back and line. Why not get a few of those players in the portal.
The portal and signing day ---- Ok, we had a big day, so did others. Portal, it's time to take stock in what we have and go get them!!!!!!!!! Indiana and Texas Tech and Lane Kiffin certainly uses it tremendously. TT goes from nothing to top of the world?????????

Looking at bama the last few games, is there any team in the top 12 right now that they could beat? I doubt it. They dont deserve to be in the playoffs jyst because theyre bama. They need to get their crap together or itll just get worse. Like Cuz said, teams are supposed to get better as the year goes on, bama has clearly got worse.

I think this could have been the last SEC Championship Game. It no longer serves a purpose other than making a pile of money. I expect the Big 10 will follow at some point. No 1 vs 2 was great last night but I wish it had occurred in the playoffs.

With the playoff and perhaps expanding the playoffs to 16 teams, none of the conference championship games are really needed anymore. It's time for them to go.

I don’t know Irish. If they expand it to 16 teams, you don’t have to worry about the SEC runner up being shut out and there will be an extra SEC team in the playoff. Right now Bama is on the outside looking in and do not control their destiny and more than likely won’t make it. That’s lost revenue for the conference.
I will say there was not an empty seat in the stadium. We have 4 seats in lower section and they cost me $950. Had them for 20 years. Started way up in the upper deck and moved down over time. My section was going for $450 per on Ticketmaster. So yeah, a pile of $ being made. Don’t know how they will get rid of the game when it’s sold out every year and already a waiting list almost 10 years long.

I've seen all kinds of stuff banted about, a playoff -- 1 is in --- then a playoff of 2, 3, 4, 5 ----- I just can't see it with all the extra games --- 12 team, maybe 16 team playoff, too many games --- even the NFL players know better than to add too many games. Yeah, it's fun for the fans, what about the players?????? Going to a 9 game conference schedule --- add potentially 2 games to a season just for sec --- Then, add potentially 4 more games ------- That's way too much.
