WEW, That’s more on Kirby screwing himself than anything Deboer has done to out coach him. I honestly haven’t seen Deboer do anything on the sideline in any game that made me say “wow, that was a great call”. I’m feel that he’s a decent/good coach but to consistently finish on top in the SEC, you have to be whole lot better than what he’s shown so far. If it isn’t fixed next year, his days in T-town are numbered. You never want to be the guy who follows a legend.... Exactly right. You’d rather be the guy that follows the guy that lowered expectations. Both 100% correct. He caught lightning in a bottle at Wash and thought it was all him. He’s finding out quick that the SEC ain’t the PAC10. That seats gonna get real hot, real quick. Saban’s successes spoiled Bama fans and nobody will be satisfied with 9-3 and 10-2 seasons. He’d better work on thickening up that skin. Nil did this and remember saban was petering off his last couple years and saw it coming and honestly I am with him. Loyalty days and development building a stacked team is gone its what can u do for me today because u are being paid just like me. Kiffin understands this atmosphere and lsu will thrive with him. Debo better do the same or he will be history after next season if it’s not improved. Fix the situation of portal opening and coach hirings and basically adopt nfl model then carry on. I’m with comment earlier bama was fortunate to get this far.
