Kirby had the right game plan. Pressure Simpson all night long. He is far less effective with a defender in his face on every play. Don't have to get him on the ground, just pressure him. He is a different QB when he has protection.

Who should be the 5th SEC team in the playoffs- Alabama or Vanderbilt?
Bama has definitely regressed at the end of the season and Vandy is stronger.

Who should be the 4th SEC team in the playoffs- Alabama or Vanderbilt?
Bama has definitely regressed at the end of the season and Vandy is stronger. The committee had them ranked 7th of SEC teams so I doubt they get moved to the top 4

Negative rushing yards and 20 pressures makes it difficult on a Qb. He hasn’t played well bc he is getting beat the hell up. Add in all the drops too. I don’t know what yall expect of him.

I honestly hope that the committee breaks their conference championships don’t matter rule and drops Bama out. It’ll give them cover in the future to dropping/passing over other teams in weaker conferences when the situation arises, and it will.
