Most private schools have people on staff constantly working at raising money. Principals, headmasters, alumni, coaches, booster clubs… raising money to pay for stuff is a 24/365 gig. Tuition doesn’t cover it all usually. The money don’t raise itself. A lot of private school teachers make less than public school teachers and the retirement program usually sucks. Teachers still have to spend a lot of their own money on supplies. There’s not that much of a difference in a lot of them. But the attitude about funds is definitely different.
