How's recoiled on that caliber? Looking for a Christmas present for my grandson I have its twin. Fine rifle. My son grabs it instead of others regularly. I use it in nice weather when hunting on a plot or clear cut. It’s deadly accurate with that 26” barrel.

I have one in .243 that has knockout walnut wood. I agree, these will be highly sought after in a few years. Great bang for the buck and great investment!
One thing I have noticed is the wood grade can vary a lot.

Life is waaaay to short not to have at least 1 beautiful rifle. Just look at what wood stocked Kimbers sell for now. If i hadn't just bought a new M70 Featherweight. I would have that rifle in my safe. I know, I know-- it's not a cheap gun but the pride of ownership is worth a lot. Synthetic stocked rifles will never have that WOW factor.
Remember: It aint what you shoot...it's how you shoot it.
