Public school kids get their tuition paid too. Every player on the team goes there for free.
One of the families that I know donates to MH and has been for years and years. I know of only one family member that has gone to the school. Instead they went to public schools. Go figure.
For that family, philanthropy started with their dad and continues on I’m not so sure it has been about sports, rather it is something to pass along. Hey but things may have changed. I don’t keep up with such things these days. I just know where that families heart is and the legacy their dad created.
