After watching Thompson and Opelika last night, I'd say Thompson has some exceptional homegrown boys!!!! 10 years ago, Thompson was a terrible program. Then they started pumping big $$$$ into the program. Not a private school... 10years ago they were a part of the Shelby County school system and competed for their portion of the pie. Now they're a part/the flagship of the Alabaster City school system. Yes, lots of tax revenue and recrutiting has gone into building the Thompson University brand...very similar to a private school system.
