Ammo not hard to find. Not sure why that caliber seems to have fallen out of favor as of late. It was the 1st caliber I got my son for his 1st rifle and it was deadly. Mrs. Bamaeyedoc shoots a Browning Gold Medialion in 7-08 and it’s the sweetest shooting gun in the safe and has killed everything it’s ever shot at. Good luck! i`m wonering if it`s due to the 6.5 gaymore trendy caliber. my go to rifles are all 7-08
