FYI- Based on my new Natchez magazine, lots of manufacturers have apparently stopped manufacturing 7-08 ammo. So make sure you have ample supply if you don’t reload.

7-08 is well established and in normal times will always be available in my opinion.

These are normal times, and has your opinion thumbed through the latest Natchez catalog?

The Natchez website currently has 19 different 7mm-08 loads in stock and a few more available to backorder

I have no problems finding 7-08 ammo.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

I just make my own 7-08 ammo. And 7-08 rifles are fairly easy to find around here. Unless you’re looking for a Tikka T3 Lite Stainless.

Ammo not hard to find. Not sure why that caliber seems to have fallen out of favor as of late. It was the 1st caliber I got my son for his 1st rifle and it was deadly. Mrs. Bamaeyedoc shoots a Browning Gold Medialion in 7-08 and it’s the sweetest shooting gun in the safe and has killed everything it’s ever shot at. Good luck!

They are some fine shooting rifles. I have killed deer in several states with that round. Never an issue, even on big Midwestern bucks.

You could probably find a deal on one at Birmingham Pistol and Wholesale. He was selling Ruger American Gen 2's for $569. Pretty sure the display model I looked at was a 7-08.

Marks' also had some on the racks outside the gun counter last time I was there too.

The 7-08 is just magical.

I dated a gold medallion 7-08 back in the 1990s but end the end never took her home. I was conflicted by the sweet Rem Model Seven I already had. My son borrowed that gun and never brought it back. I've always regretted not buying that Browning.

I purchase ammo for a living. About 4 million dollars worth per year. Just one of my six distributors currently has on hand more than 8600 boxes of cartridges in 37 different options available today for the 7mm-08. Just happens to be my favorite caliber. I have 16 options on the shelf at the store. Several hundred boxes in stock. There is no shortage of 7mm-08 ammo and has not been for several years. I have no idea why other stores seem to not stock it.

Sorry
The little Ruger Americans are good guns and easy to find.
Good luck
