Yeah they’re cool, but I’d take a 7mm Rem Mag over any caliber PRC any day. At ranges most people hunt with in Alabama, the difference between a 260, 6.5 Creed, 6.5x55, 264 Win Mag, etc isn’t likely to matter. I tend to shoot bullets on the lighter end of the caliber spectrum, but to each their own. Get what you like and shoot it til your good with it and trust it, that’s the important part.

I hunt more with my 7mm STW then anything else, however i really like my 6.5 prc but my youngest Son's purty much taken it over lol. Oldest son has the 300 & i picked up the 7prc last year sometime and kilt a buck deer with it on my first sit. I do see the 7mm not taking off just like with the short mags, the 300 & 270 are still popular.
