Looking at some new tires to replace stock ones on my Honda.
I don’t do mud Boggs, or racing. Looking for something that grips wet rocks as well as possible on inclines.
It’s a hunting rig.

Take a look at the Maxxis Bighorn II.
I like them on my Rubicon a bunch.
I have a set of rears that still have a lot of tread left on them that I could make a real good deal on.
Buy you some new fronts.

I went with SunF. I have a few slick rocks we go over seems to do fine. I only bought back tires. I ordered from Amazon. Look at ordering through Walmart free mounting. The guy told me they sell them. I had no idea. Mounted mine for $10 a tire.

I’m pretty sure the top two come in a sticky compound. Great for rocks and inclines but will wear faster. The standard compounds are good too just a little less grip.

Tusk terrabites are a fine tire for that application. I’ve gone to running those on all my fire rigs. They’re not excellent in deep nasty mud, but rocks, trails and everything in between they’re great. Can also get them in 8 and 10 ply, which I do.

Just got some them tusk for my wheeler . Been buying them for long time . It’s a in house Rocky Mountain atv brand but u can get them thru Amazon now . Bout same price . They have a ware house in ky and usually get them in couple days . I’ve bought thousands dollar of stuff from Rocky Mountain over the yrs . Best online store there is for utv, atv or bikes . Make good dirt bike tires also .

I've got the same machine and recently bought Tusk Mud Force from Rocky Mountain. Fronts came in few days ago, still waiting on rears. Good price. Good looking tires. I deal with more gumbo than rocks though.

Welp, not impressed with Sunf. Slicker on wet rocks than stock Honda tires. (Aired down, dropped pressure just enough to keep tire on rim).
Seems like this compound is really hard.
Not concerned with tire life. I don’t ride that many miles in the mountain.
Next option??

Maxis Bighorn 2.0. I’ve owned and bought 4 wheeler tires for 30 years and these have been hands down the best I’ve ever owned.

Sunf makes a tire like Bighorn but much cheaper I just got these for my Ranger. 6-ply. Less than $100 each after install. Very impressed with the quality and price from Amazon.
