[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]Our plots are not getting a chance to grow because the deer are already on them morning and evening.

Wherever you are, you’ve gotten 5X the rain that we have in the middle/south end of the state. Our plots are going to be fine, but we are 2-3 steady 1+ inch rains, from ours looking like that.

Yep, I don’t have a field that looks that good yet. You’re ahead of the curve not behind

Nice ol’ shooting shack tucked back in the cedars

I am always jealous of those who have bucks that walk out in green fields in daylight. Just does not happen around here and my deer don’t have much pressure.

They’re wearing my plots out too, which is unusual given the acorns we have. We’ve killed a 5 and 7 yr old bucks in food plots over the last week. Low pressure is key.

Yep. They’re hitting out plots the best they ever had since we started 4 years ago. I think I will stick with forage oats from here on out.

Low pressure from surrounding areas too…we haven’t stepped foot on ours and the bucks are still not showing up till nighttime late. The does are there all during the day but mature bucks not so much from what I can see on camera.

I haven’t sat a food plot yet and my cameras are in the woods so I couldn’t say. I just always plan to hunt fields after Christmas.
