You do realize that their starting quarterback has the genetics from an NFL quarterback, correct? And that his dad chose to put him in school there due to religious factors correct? Are you trying to say that Saint Michaels has Phillip River son on scholarship?
Sidenote, how about you throw orange Beach in that mix? Or Spanish Fort? Neither one or very old programs. Amazingly they have phenomenal athletes at public schools. Don’t think you have to wonder too hard how that happens.
There are a lot of both private and public schools that do not give scholarships to athletes. Likewise, there’s a lot that do. Not sure how that become private versus public school thought other than someone got beat by a better team and dad got upset his kid didn’t win.
