Once again, we see private schools composing a significant number of finalists in the 1A-4A ranks (3 out of the 8 this year). IMO it’s past time for the AHSAA to exclude them from the playoffs. Feel free to allow them to mix it up in the regular season, but come playoff time schools that can recruit and have non-teachers as head coaches have no business being included.
That’s awesome. So no public school recruits? You ever wondered why the nice apartments exist close to the school? And all private schools recruit? You ever see how many private schools get drummed in football? Why don’t we just give them all trophies and call it even.
