Seen 13 deer this morning. Had 6 does that feed under 4 whiteoaks for almost 3 hours. Never seen a deer stay that long in the same place.

Deer chili inbound! Awesome, is that a Ruger American ranch gen 2 in 300 blk? It’s a 450 Bushmaster, Resilient Rambling Man suppressor. Haven’t had a chance to work up a load for it yet so I’m shooting Hornady Black 250gr FTX

Been watching tons of does this year, only seen a couple small bucks. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet but would be happy with a fat doe if she comes out in all this wind.

Set up on the edge of a narrow hardwood draw between two pastures. Had pics of a weird antler deer in a scrape a couple days ago.

Was hoping my middle son would go this afternoon, but he’s more interested in spending time with cousins this evening, so daddy is alone and I’m feeling good about it. 😁 I’m sitting in a box overlooking a 1.5 acre food plot with water oaks raining along the edge and THICK cover all around.

Big powerline stand this evening does and a fawn so far.
Sounds like one of the young fellas in camp just shot one down the line from where I am.
They had 3 boys in the same house i imagine it was a rodeo. Lol

Me and my buddies son hunted this morning and he killed a nice little 8 point at 220 yards. He blew her heart to pieces it was a heck of a shot off a tripod rail
We will burn that bridge when we get there
