Why not get a propane tank and then install a propane tankless? I think you’ve said on here before that you wanted a whole house generator at some point down the road. 2 birds one stone.
This is what I did. I don't like looking at a tank so I had them bury it. You can literally have hot water on for days if you wanted to and the gas lasts a long time cause you only use it on demand.
