Im based in the central Alabama area and wanted to do a small half acre food plot. I only have a small bit of land and it is all wooded with no real cleanings I could plant in. Would my best bet just be to buy a bag of throw and grow? I figure since it's supposed to rain tomorrow that would be a good day to. (College kid away which is why I didn't plant anything earlier) In a wooded area with leaf litter and without openings, I don’t think you’ll get results from a throw and mow or any mix. If you had prepped ground of any sort, I’d definitely say it’s worth throwing seed. Can you at least rake or blow some leaves off?
