What ammo you shooting in that Bergara 7PRC? Cousin got one and he can’t get it below 2” groups. Of course he’s been shooting off a lead sled which I hate.

I won’t be going either. It’s too dang hot. When I do decide to go I’ll be toting the Traditions .50 ML. My kids can use the Bergara 6.5 CM this year.

Probably an AR in 338 ARC and if not then a Ruger American in 7-08. Depends on where I end up.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Winchester model 94 .30-30, browning bar .30-06, weatherby element 12 gauge. 3” 000 buck.
I’ll have all 3 with me, and use them according to the crossing I’m at. Some places can’t see but 40 yards, some 75 yards and some will be 200 plus yards. I go prepared. 😁😁

I didn’t have good luck with ELD-M or ELDX when I took it back out a couple weeks ago, but CX’s shot around 1MOA. I think they like lighter bullets than advertised. I did some hand loads this past weekend and got just under .7 with 140TTSX’s. I also loaded some 120TTSX and they grouped about the same. ![[Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]](https://i.postimg.cc/V6hKwJbq/IMG-3903.jpg) 140 TTSX 68.3gr of 4831sc 3.110 COAL Fed 215 primer

Makes sense, he's tried the 180 ELD-M and 175 ELD-X. He called Bergara and they suggested he try the Norma 165gr Bondstrike, as that's what they test with at the factory. We built a hell of a shooting bench, and I got a caldwell rock front rest and bag. I've never shot accurately off a lead sled.

Tell him to try CX or find someone to load some of those TTSX’s. I’ve never cared for the lead sleds til recently. I prefer bipods and a rear bag but can’t complain with the sled loaded with a bunch of sandbags.

If I’m in my climber in the woods, I’m toting my Remington SS Mountain Rifle in 7mm-08 and 140 grain Federal Fusions. It’s topped off with a Zeiss 3.5x10x44 scope. If I’m on a greenfield, I’m toting my trusty (circa1977) Remington BDL in 270 and 130 grain Federal Sierra Boat Tails. It’s got a Zeiss 3x9x50 mm scope that I absolutely love.

my stone cold killer 6.5 Creedmore. It kills like a 300Weatherby on steroids.
