My opinion (and I own my share of Glocks):
Most Glock ‘copies’ seem to be better Glocks than any stock Glock. I’m more fond of the PSA Dagger Micro than my 43/43/x/48s. The Ruger with its minor improvements ‘appears’ to be a better mousetrap. Glock has always given shooters what GLOCK wanted them to shoot, not what shooters asked Glock to give them. Glock is like a run of the mill AK, with a corporate culture like a diamond broker. The Glock cultists are gonna pop a vein here, but it’s just how I’ve seen it. Gaston Glock was always ruthless AF with his competitors, to the point that it wouldn’t shock me if 50% or more of the Sig 320 stupidity is being covertly hyped/promoted by Glock, just over contracts and $. If that’s in any way true, maybe Glock just met Karma? Run what you like, but Ruger has recovered well since BR ran his mouth back when, and Kimber makes good stuff in AL….we have more dependable choices than ever. Before you assume I ‘hate’ Glocks, realize that I still have a single pin first gen that I’ve carried in at least 3 continents. wink

Do the clones, like the Dagger allow you to add glock accessories, like an extended slide release? Or a slightly wider take down?

So far for me, yes. I've added parts listed for a model 19 to my dagger. I've owned both glocks, my currentdagger and the combat armory version. The dagger has been the best of all thus far. Timney has a trigger kit for the 19 that fits in the dagger like a glove and is a superb addition.

It apparently takes VERY little effort to make a better Glock, than Glock is able to or wants to. I’ll leave what that says about Glock as a company to the rest of you. wink

I saw a thing this AM where some stupid gun control group send Ruger a letter demanding they do something about the RXM, or they "could" face lawsuits. Glock caved like a chicken.

I looked at some Glocks and then their clones. The clones were much better in my opinion. The guys I know that run Glocks replace the trigger and a few other parts. Also at the last training now went to most of the Glocks jammed. Bad ammo, new shooters or whatever that’s what I saw. 3 of us ran echelons and no problems etc… my echelon has stove piped once in several several thousand rounds. I replaced the trigger and slide spring so there’s that.

I’m not digging Glock and truly wood tried what the new ones will be

I held the new Ruger RXM and did feel better than Glock to me

Probably the best "feeling" striker fired pistol for my hands is the S&W Shield. I love the way they feel.

I really like my XDM 10, I wish I had gotten the 3.8 though. If I could swap I would, even if it cost me a little bit.

I’m seeing some gun stores saying they have the V series in stock and for folks to come see them. Cypress shooting range north of Florence is where I saw one add

I shot a buddies 43X a few years ago and really liked it. Always meant to buy one, but then I held the Springfield Hellcat OSP. Bought it, took to Gundoc and he cerekoted it and added a powder river trigger kit. It has been one of my two EDCs for three years now. Found a 43X on here with a lot of aftermarket add ons and snapped it up. It was a good deal to me. It shoots well and I was contemplating bringing it into the EDC rotation until I was in the safe the other day and picked up the Springfield. The Springfield just feels better in my hand and I acquire the sights quicker. The Glock has a lot of “cool factor” with all the upgrades, but it just feels clunkier overall if that makes sense. Do I regret buying the Glock? Not at all. Do I have better options? Absolutely.

The hellcat pro I had with apex trigger was sweet shooting. It was well made to boot.
