According to Jon Sauber of The Centre Daily Times, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer is a leading candidate for the open Penn State job. DeBoer is in his second season with the Crimson Tide after taking over for legendary head coach Nick Saban. Now, he is reportedly drawing interest to replace James Franklin in State College. https://www.on3.com/news/penn-state...SUlQ-7ytoWvxU_aem_WKOs4Tfr7wjy2tEc7mla4w

I'm gonna nominate Burbank as a leading candidate as recruiting assistant for Auburn. That makes as much sense as Ckd leaving Bama.

Greg Byrne’s email just dinged as Kiffin’s resume came in. Jimmy Sexton is both Deboer and Kiffins agent. Be a nice little Christmas bonus for Jimmy if he parks Deboer at Penn, Kiffin at Bama and backfills the vacancy at Ole Miss with another one of his boys. Show Jimmy da’ money. $$$$$
lol. Ain’t happening.

The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

At one point I read Clark Lea from Vandy was the top choice for PSU. When I read it I thought it made a lot of sense.

Jox is talking about it now. Wouldn’t bother me, I’m indifferent about him. I’ll take lane or Kirby over him for sure.

Perkins, Curry and Francione all left T Town for greener pastures and clean air. I don't remember any of them accomplishing anything after they left...

Perkins, Curry and Francione all left T Town for greener pastures and clean air. Perkins left for a bigger paycheck at the Tampa Bay Bucs that he could not turn down; back then there was a HUGE difference in salaries between college and pro.

To be fair, none of those accomplished something while he was there. Perkins was 10-2 and 9-2-1 his last 2 years. Beat Auburn/Dye 84/85; I think he would have been successful had he stayed. But, we will never know.

Yep --- they all had 10 win seasons, when the season was only 11 games (total). Back when 10 wins meant something. I'm on the fence on DeBoer. I haven't seen an improvement in our offensive line over last year -- even with this "his" OC. There are a lot of open receivers against our D. Except for the one receiver, all the others have regressed over last year, Williams has trouble with his hands catching. Lane or DeBoer, interesting question.

Good luck to him. He don't want to be in Bama and it shows I think.
