If I were you I’d probably buy some other caliber all together. A 7mm-08 is an inferior caliber and only designed for women and children. Be a man and get something better. You’d be lucky for the bullet to penetrate the hide on a large buck. Maybe go buy a 6.5 creed moor or something similar and just leave the 7mm-08 in the dust?
this caliber is about all I have shot in the last 18 years. It’ll do the job well in 120, 140, and/or 150 grain bullets. My personal advice is not one single 7mm-08 rifle I have will shoot the hornady superformance worth a crap so take that for what it’s worth as I only have a few.
