As far as the acorn article goes though……..The “impact” of acorns is going to have a wide varying effect across the landscape according to how much of the total land area is covered in hardwoods……That’s why Jackson County, where at least half or more of the landscape is covered in hardwoods, will likely be affected completely different than say Bullock…….
Take this scenario for example……Lets say we have a 5000 acre quail plantation that’s 80% burn units……10% fields…….5% hardwoods……5% other………If there are acorns raining on the ground in those hardwoods…..should I have trouble seeing deer??.......If you have trouble in that scenario with “where have the deer gone??”…….You have other issues than akerns…….
