Pwyse, just eliminating season extension and baiting would be a massive step in the right direction. A two buck limit and enforced game check system would change everything.

If Alabama didnt kill as many bucks (particularly in the 1-3 yr classes) then the problem could be fixed that way too. Get all the does bred in the first phase. Healthier, earlier dropped fawns statewide increasing fawn survival. Healthier, less stressed bucks coming out of the rut, increasing buck survival and overall herd health. Yeah, none of that sounds good for the herd.
