This is a dream trip for me. I have a 24 fr cape horn off shore. Can I get close enough to wade and be safe. Me and my buddies have talked about it for years about going Yes you can. The furthest south point of Chandy has a deep flat on the sound side that you can take all the way to the beach. Just be careful when you're running the sound side as the shoals extend a good distance off of the island.
