What is your choice going to be on Saturday? I’m considering the 45-70 if I sit woods near a hot oak tree. Still haven’t taken a deer with it yet.

2025 is the 100th anniversary of the 270. So til end of year it will be a 270 of some shape. Ive got a 270 BAR that I’ve rarely carried. I think I may start the year with it.

My grandpa's old 742 wood master 3006 carbine. Ive got more accurate rifles but there's nothing else I'd rather hunt with

My grandpa's old 742 wood master 3006 carbine. Ive got more accurate rifles but there's nothing else I'd rather hunt with I’m going to be carrying my Dad’s old Marlin 30-30 next week. I’ve only killed 1 deer with it. I’ve decided to hunt with it until I kill another deer with it. Good luck with your Grandpa’s old 742.
