This goes on at all levels of government. Local government people get their palms greased too. I hear now Chelsea is going to be the next Hoover. Great, I didn't move there for it to become Hoover, if I wanted that, I would have moved to Hoover to begin with. It took me 50 minutes to drive 18 miles to work this morning. Funny, all these local governments are so pro growth, and none mention anything about a road infrastructure that is probably 3 times past its capacity. I don't hear any talk of finding new water sources to support all this development either.
I want to live somewhere that the only artificial light at night comes from my porch light.
