CNC -Question.....What is a good amount for a tracker to charge or expect in a tip? I guess it matters a lot in how far you have to travel, how long you and your dogs works, and other stuff but I do not have any idea what is an "average" amount. If I need tracking services I would want to treat the tracker right. Thanks.
If someone comes out and seems professional about what they do and all I'd give them at least $100......
Thanks for the reply. I am not a wealthy person but $100.00 seems quite low. I mean if you figure if a fellow was to drive an hour each way and spend two or 3 hours helping me find a deer his time alone would be worth 100 dollars and then you add in paying for his know how and experience. From your posts it seems that often you are helping folks because you enjoy doing it, but "The laborer is worthy of his hire".
