Miss’ippi (unless recently changed) bars depredation kills from recovery, and pretty sure it is strictly a “leave em where they lay” permit. If you’ve seen (or much much worse experienced) what an unseen deer carcass does to a combine innards, then you understand why the shooters/farmers gut shot them, more often than not.
