Offer to lease it with a brown it’s down stipulation on does and you promise to kill XX per year
That was our deal with the farmer, but we had 8 hunters. The new crew (that grossly overbid/outbid us for what it is) started at 4 and ended up with only 2 hunters and I don’t think they ever hit their number of does agreed upon.
The club I grew up on SC was this way we HAD to kill so many or we would lose our lease. We would man drive and dog drive those islands of woods and strips of woods between fields at the end of the season after we had still hunted them
to death or nocturnal… it was awesome. You could run the barrel hot on a 12 ga on some of those hunts. We put the full court press on their asses..
No way you could ever meet quota with 4 or let alone 2 people hunting lol the farmer would laugh and say yall are done pack your stuff.
We hunted around 12 family members on 900ac and killed around 40 a year every year…. And believe it or not a couple 130+ wall hangers every year.. for like 35 years. My dad and I were members 20 years.
