As critical as I have been of his record in big games, James Franklin would be a good hire. A steady influence with potential high upside. No, don’t go there. I also wouldn't hire Durkin because of his involvement with the death of Jordan McNair while he was HC at Maryland. So you would have fired Pat Dye? Durkin wasn't in the building. Sure, he was the head of the program so he has some responsibility. I hear people saying that "Durkin" killed a kid and that is simply not true. By the way, the kids name is Jordan McNair, RIP.
