Dems are empowered after the beatdown they just gave Wasnt a beatdown, they simply won what they already controlled. Repubs never stand a chance in any of those states or cities. If they ever do win, it's a one off thing and an anomaly. Dems didnt really win anything when you look at things over a long period. Saw something on this last night and just verified it. In Virginia, since 1886, there have been 35 governors, only 5 have been republican, all the rest democrats. NE Virginia is where most of the Washington DC workers live. Almost exclusively democrat and it is by design. Has to be a perfect storm and the absolutely perfect candidate for a Republican to win there. Same with NY and all these other "great" victories that the Dems are claiming. Exactly
