Some weeks I'll pump close to 100 gallons of fuel for my F150 traveling back and forth across the state. Some weeks I am home much more and only pump 30. I fill up when I get to 1/8 tank. One town will be 30-40 cents higher but drive a few miles price will be much lower. That I don't understand. Some municipalities will have a small fuel tax added on, but it's generally not over a nickel or so. Some remote locales may have to pay a little more for fuel deliveries...but it doesn't explain huge price discrepancies. Large price differences like you're talking about are plain greed by station owners.
