I enjoy the beach. We go a couple of times a year, only for 3,4,5 days at a time. When I say beach I mean going to the coast. Not the actual place where the Gulf waves crash onto the shore. I rarely go to the beach beach.
My beach trips consists of sitting down at the dock or on the deck and relaxing. Take the boat to Pirates Cove and just ease around the islands and Perdido Bay. We usually eat groceries we buy at Publix. We may do a take out order, but I haven’t sat down in a restaurant in OBA in 5 years. My last sit down meal was a Moes BBQ of all places.
I still have a few beers and a Bush Whacker or 3 at the Bama or Yacht Club mid afternoon to hear some live music. Back on the boat and to the house to spend the rest of the night fishing under the lights and just relax.
Me and my 4 have done this numerous times for about a hundred dollars a head. Hard to beat!
